Meal Plans

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact the Student Development Office at 515 961-1592.

  • Block 200 + $75 flex / semester
    200 meals for one semester, plus $75 in flex money
  • Block 150 + $275 flex / semester
    150 meals for one semester, plus $275 in flex money 

  • Block 150 GREEK + $275 flex / semester
    150 meals for one semester, plus $275 in flex money
    *Available only to students living in Greek housing. 

  • Block 100 + $250 flex / semester
    100 meals for one semester, plus $250 in flex money

Meal Card

Selection of a Campus Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card, which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Here is how it works: Use your meal swipes at Pfeiffer Dining Hall – one swipe and enjoy all you care to eat! Meal swipes may also be used for select menu items at our retail locations in the Kent food court. Flex money is a convenient way to purchase additional meals or snacks at any of our dining locations on campus.

Dining Policies

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that meal cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.

Lost or Stolen Meal Cards

Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you, report your card lost or stolen and obtain replacement cards in the Student Development Office located in the Kent Center.

Seconds Policy

You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program. Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites. All you have to do is ask! Please note, however, that there are some exceptions to our Seconds Policy including: Swipe+ and elite events purchases and food and beverage purchases in our retail locations.
